Adaptability and Change
Apr 14, 2021
Our team at Netbookings are no strangers to adaptability and change. Our structure (and our industry) often changes at the drop of a hat, with anything from the community to modern technologies influencing the different ways in which we must approach a problem. That being said, even a business as rapidly changing as ours faced distinctly new challenges at the start of last year when the world shifted from the office to the home.
While we are fortunate enough to work with computers, many local businesses struggled to find ways in which their business could adapt to the new climate. For businesses that rely heavily on the human experience, adaptability was not so easy. A few businesses with Netbookings explored modules they otherwise wouldn’t have used, such as Gift Vouchers or Online Shop. Businesses with culinary options could suddenly take requests for pick-up, or still sell packages to be used when the world could return to normal.
These examples are specific to the recent conditions we had to acclimatise to, but the meaning behind them can be expanded to many situations. If your business must change, Netbookings has other ways to provide your business the tools to adjust. Gift vouchers are a flexible addition to a business that allows for sales that don’t demand a time committal, or even make as a more versatile gift. Online Shop allows for sales that normally would rely on in-person viewings, allowing your businesses to find revenue where it once couldn’t. Netbookings plans can be changed on-the-fly, allowing for decisions to be made in a shorter time period to allow for change and growth where needed.
For all businesses of the past year, we sincerely hope that your business found ways to engage with the unique circumstances we all found ourselves in. If your business has found new ways to grow, expand or adapt, please speak with us. The very nature of our system allows for change and experimentation and we would love to help you take the steps needed to expand and grow, both as businesses and people.
