Camping doesn't fit a hotel's room grid — so we built a system that fits camping.
The Campground Booking System began with a request from a long-standing client who was simplifying their park — doing away with numbered sites so guests could just pick a spot and enjoy the surrounds.
Our Accommodation module needed every booking pinned to a specific numbered site, and camping like that doesn't work that way. So we extended it to take bookings by the area and the number of people rather than the site number — with a percentage-full view for each day and a tablet arrival check-in for the front gate.
Since then it's been taken up by campgrounds, caravan parks and working farms of every size — handling 500+ guests per area, with unlimited areas, each with their own wording and imagery.

Features built for the way you camp
Camping Calendar
The Campground areas share the Accommodation calendar with other room types such as cabins and powered or non-powered sites. This makes it easier for staff who work in businesses that have a mixture of accommodation types as they can be viewed on the same screen for a complete overview for the business per month.
Each day shows the quantity of people booked as a percentage of capacity and graphically.
Making a booking for a guest is very easy by selecting the number of nights and number of people.
Book Camping Online
The Campground module was developed to be very easy to book online while giving staff useful tools to manage the guests arrivals and departures.
To book online guests simply select how many people they have, the arrival date and the departure date then Netbookings will offer them a price and option to book.
Arrival checking
The camping booking screen can be used as an overview of all the bookings for the day and/or you can also use it to set the arrival status of everyone arriving today.
Arrival & Departures Daily Report via Email
Netbookings can email staff daily of all the bookings for your campground. Statuses are: Departure, Ongoing and Arrival.
You can customise the report by showing or hiding the following: services, packages, notes and any inactive items.
You can show only what you want — arrivals only, departures or any combination including ongoing.

Bush camping at its best on the river, with breathtaking views. Set up camp where you choose within the reserve, pull up a fire drum and relax — or take a dip in the spring-fed river where families make memories.
Sell a little more than a spot for the night
Most campgrounds sell a bit extra — firewood, drinking water, a few breakfast basics or some hire gear. Netbookings adds those to the same booking, and a simple kiosk POS handles the walk-up sales at the gate.
