What's new in Netbookings — February 2026
February has been a busy month for the Netbookings team. From channel management automation to smarter guest communications, here's a rundown of what's been added and improved.
Accommodation channel management — now with auto sync
This is a big time-saver for accommodation operators. You can now enable automated syncing of your accommodation channel management directly in System > Setup > Settings > Integrations > Accommodation Channel Management > Auto Sync. No more manual syncing — your availability and rates stay up to date across your channels automatically.
Letters is now Contact — and it does more
'Letters' has been renamed to 'Contact' to better reflect what it actually does. Along with the rename comes a useful new option — you can now send an SMS directly to your guest or group of guests, not just an email. Before sending, you'll see a list of guests who will be contacted, so you always know exactly who's receiving your message.
Pay for memberships with a stored card
'Stored card' is now available as a payment type for memberships, giving staff a quick and convenient way to process membership payments for returning guests without needing to re-enter card details.
Cancel a line on a booking
Staff can now cancel individual lines within a booking rather than having to cancel the entire booking. This is particularly useful for multi-service bookings where a guest wants to remove one element — a tour, a meal, or a spa treatment — without affecting the rest of their reservation.
Gift voucher improvements
Two handy updates for gift vouchers this month. Guests can now redeem a voucher on the day it expires — previously the system would block same-day redemption. We've also added a second expiry reminder, which can be configured in System > Setup > Settings > Vouchers, giving guests an extra nudge before their voucher lapses.
Membership search added
You can now search for memberships directly via Search > Membership, making it much faster to find and manage a specific guest's membership without navigating through their full profile.
Guest Contact simplified
The Guest Contact screen has been streamlined and simplified, making it quicker for staff to get in touch with guests without unnecessary steps.
POS update — table management improvement
For dining operators, the POS will now automatically set a table to 'Arrived' when 'Departed' is selected. This allows a table to be released and made available for the next booking before the dining session officially ends — a small change that makes a real difference during busy service.
Accommodation Dynamic Pricing update
Minimum days can now be set to zero in Dynamic Pricing, giving operators more flexibility when setting up pricing rules for shorter stays.
