About Netbookings
Netbookings was born in Rye, Victoria — a small coastal town on the Mornington Peninsula — over 28 years ago. It started with a favour. Our friend Tom Wende, who ran OzDive & Boat Charters, offered up his business as a guinea pig to help us build and test our very first online booking system. Tom took a chance on us, and we've never forgotten it.
From those early days booking scuba diving charters on Port Phillip Bay, we grew quickly. Our next big project was building an accommodation booking system for Chocolate Gannets on the Great Ocean Road — the first 5-star accommodation on that iconic stretch of coastline. They went on to win the Victorian Tourism Award for Best New Tourism Development in 2002, and we like to think we played a small part in helping them get there.
That was just the beginning.

Today we specialise in multi-faceted tourism businesses — hot springs resorts, large campgrounds, multi-activity venues, and tour operators who need more than a basic booking form.
