Bookings On-Hold

Netbookings allows you to make a booking on-hold at either 10am or 5pm on a day in the future. If the booking has not had a payment made at the on-hold time/day, the guest is emailed stating the booking has been cancelled. The resource then becomes available again.

The client can make a new booking or get in touch and have the booking re-activated. The helps staff in a couple of ways:

  1. They do not have to remember that they made a tentative or penciled-in booking
  2. Staff can create a little urgency by stating to a client that their booking will be on-hold until to 5PM today or 10AM tomorrow morning.

The on-hold feature of our booking system is available in all our modules and onyl takes a minute to activate on a reservation.
